Roots Groups
As part of our PLAN to GROW Discipleship Programme, we are encouraging people to start ‘Roots Groups’. They are small small groups made up of just 3-4 people who intentionally share their discipleship journey together more deeply. Responding to Jesus’ call to “Come, follow me”, Roots commit to making a P.L.A.N. together, intentionally committing to Pray together and for each other, share Life together, be Accountable to one another, and seek to Nurture their God-given gifts within them, in order that they may serve the church in it’s worship, fellowship mission to the world, and learn to G.R.O.W. Small Groups (Shoots)
These groups are slightly bigger than our Roots Groups, but along with them we believe that Small Groups are a vital expression of the Up, In and Out of our church vision. They are also places where we can get closer to God (Up), form closer friendships and accountable disciple-orientated relationships (In), and learn together through discussion, Bible study and prayer what our purposes are in this world (Out) . You will find a warm welcome, friendship and care as you discover more of God in an informal setting. The groups all include Bible study and prayer, and meet on weekday evenings and during the day, in the church building and in people’s homes.
