Join us on Sundays at 10:30am
Our Sunday morning services start at 10:30. Everyone is welcome to join us, whatever your age. We all meet together for a short time in the upstairs area (a lift is available), then children and young people leave for their own sessions. There is also a crèche where parents can either leave or stay with their children. There are refreshments after the service – and sometimes even lunch too!
What to expect on a Sunday morning
Whether you are just curious or seriously seeking a new church home or family to be part of, you are very welcome at Kay Street. We've put together a list of FAQs to help you know what to expect.
Arriving
Everything happens at one location. Free parking is readily available in the car park adjacent and opposite to the church building. You will be greeted by one of our stewards on your arrival and they will help direct you to the main worship area
The service
Each service usually lasts an hour and a quarter to an hour and a half and includes a message, prayers, Bible readings and music.
All our songs and hymns are displayed on the main screen (we also have a small number of tablet PCs available if you find it difficult to read the big screen – please ask one of the stewards). The stewards are more than willing to help you find a seat or answer any questions you may have. There is no reserved seating.
Communion
Celebrating communion is an important part of church life when we remember and give thanks for the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. We do this on the third Sunday morning of each month.
We have an open table and all who love our Lord Jesus are welcome to share in the bread and wine.
