If you would like to check whether we have any items available, or if we are able to deliver, please contact us via email, text, phone or social media - details below.
What?
A Christian Bookshop serving the local churches and wider public, selling Bibles, books for all ages, greetings cards and gifts for all occasions, DVDs and CDs plus a wide range of fairly traded foods from Traidcraft. It tastes so much better when you know no-one is being ripped off!
Where?
In a room at the rear of Kay Street Baptist Church, Rawtenstall. Signs are up when the Bookshop is open.
Who?
Volunteers from local churches representing Anglicans, Methodists and Baptists running a social enterprise company limited by guarantee. This means that any profits are given away to Christian and local charities.
When?
First Tuesday in the Month 9:30am - 1pm
Thursday 9:30am - 4pm
Saturday 9:30am - 1pm
How can you help?
Visit, buy and pray. Please pray for the team, for wisdom in disbursing profits and for discernment in buying stock that will help the spread of God’s Kingdom.
Items not in stock can usually be ordered and arrive within a week. Whenever possible the Bookshop is willing to provide a book and/or a fair trade stall for events.
Volunteers
The Bookshop is run, and staffed, entirely by volunteers. We would like to expand our opening hours. However, to do so we require more volunteers. If you are interested and able to volunteer for 3.5 hours per week or month, please contact us either by phone, email, social media or come in and talk to us when we are open.
